Golvet i vårt blivande sovrum är vitmålat men väldigt slitet, så vi var tvugna att fixa det. Det jag älskar med målade golv är att det är så enkelt att göra dom fina igen. Några riktiga omgångar med skurning, för att sedan låta det torka och så e det klart för att börja rolla! Min mormors syster hade målade golv i sitt hus när hennes barn växte upp. Och man har berättat för mig att hon varje år, på kvällen innan julaftonen, målade om golven. Så på julaftonen var golvet alltid nymålat. Tänker att hon måste varit fantastiskt duktig på att planera om hon hade tid att måla golvet på uppesittarkvällen...det är den stunden som jag i panik slår in alla paket och samtidigt försöker göra det mysigt för att få lite julkänsla hahaha

Our bedroom to be has a floor that is painted white, but it is very worn so we had to fix it. What I love with painted floors is that it is so simple to make them look nice again. Clean the floor thoroughly a couple of times and let it dry. Then you can start to roll on the paint. My grandmas sister had painted floors in her house when her kids where young. I have been told the she repainted the floor every year the day before Christmas. So for Christmas the floors where always freshly painted. I’m thinking that she must have been so good at organizing to be able to paint floors the day before Christmas…that’s the time when I wrap all the presents and with a slight panic try to feel not stressed and enjoy the fact that Christmas is coming hahaha
